SPY (US)

SPY formed in San Jose, California in January 2020, and have spent the years since cementing themselves as one of the most exciting acts in contemporary hardcore. Rooted in hardcore punk, the band delivers wrenching guitars, detached vocals, and a relentless live intensity that's earned them a rabid following far beyond the Bay Area. SPY's catalog is deliberately lean — one LP and a run of EPs — a reflection of their belief that short, punishing records suit the genre best.

THE S.E.T. (US)

The S.E.T. are a hardcore band from Baltimore, Maryland. Unapologetic and groove-driven, they carry the crossover spirit of old New York hardcore — think Leeway and Judge — spiked with the raw Baltimore sound. Their debut EP Self Evident Truth is out now on Flatspot Records.
